The Nintendo
Wii console is a great new console that uses motion sensors in the
controllers so that you can use your very own movements in the games!
The Nintendo Wii console uses controllers that are called remotes and these
are shaped like a television remote control and so they are quite a departure
from the old style control pads (although these are available if you cannot
bare the new remotes). The Wii uses a sensor that you place near your television
and motion sensors in the remotes and so the Nintendo Wii can use your movements
in relation to your position to the television and this plants you right
into the middle of the action.
And the gameplay is superb and way better than any other games console as
you literally play the game instead of just pressing buttons. So with a golf
game you actually swing the controller like a golf club and this makes the
game so much more realistic and with a sword fighting game you swing your
sword around in a similar fashion. And there are also some great novelty
controllers that are shaped like the item you are using such as a golf club
or tennis racket.
The Nintendo Wii console is absolutely
fantastic for multi-player fun as it is hilarious seeing your friends thrash
around trying to control their game. And there are lots of games that are
designed for multi-player games such as party games and these are a huge
amount of fun and so if you buy a Nintendo Wii console you simply have to
get some more remotes and some decent multi-player games.
