The iPod Classic is the standard iPod, previously known as the iPod, and
is the iPod with the huge storage capacity with 80GB and 160GB hard drives.
With even 80GB of storage space you have a vast amount of storage potential
and can store 20,000 songs or 100 hours of video which is enough to keep anyone
entertained. And then there is the 160GB version with a mind-boggling 40,000
songs or 200 hours of video and both can store a huge amount of digital photos
too. The great thing about having a huge hard drive is that you can also use
it to store other files and so you can easily transport other files between
computers if you needed to.
The iPod Classic comes in two nice colours which are black and silver and they
both look very good. They are also small and yet have a good sized LCD screen
and they also still have the clickwheel and so they are very familiar and easy
to control. It is also metal and is thinner than previous models and so has
a sleek feel to it and also carries a huge hard drive for it's size.
The screen is a good 2.5 inches and is back-lit by an LED light and so has
a great quality. And with the huge 80GB and 160GB hard drives you can store
lots of movies and TV shows that you have downloaded from iTunes and they are
easily watch-able on such a nice screen.
The iPod Classic is the most expensive iPod but you have to consider the huge
capacity that it has; if you do not need all of that space then you would be
better off with an iPod Nano as they are cheaper but have nowhere near the
