Vodaphone sells its own range of mobile phones as well as models by Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Samsung and Nokia. But its main focus is on providing network services through its own range of products and packages.

You can get access to a complete Vodafone experience when you sign up to one of their pay monthly or pay as you talk plans. This includes Vodafone mail, which is one mailbox for all your voice, fax and email messages, and Vodafone messenger, an instant messenger service you can operate through your handset.



Some packages include picture messaging and video clip sending facilities, and you can connect to Vodafone live! which lets you watch your favourite TV channels on your phone. This is a portable way to keep up to date with all the news, entertainment and sports when you’re out and about.

Monthly rental contracts include Vodafone’s ‘Anytime’ flexible price plans and exclusive online packages. These give you access to Sky Mobile TV (available only through Vodafone) with links to Sky News and Sky Sport as well as the CNN channel for news and information from around the world. Another money-saving incentive is their Stop the Clock feature, free with most ‘Anytime’ plans, which lets you talk for up to an hour on evenings and weekends and pay only for the first three minutes. If you go over the hour you simply pay for the additional extra time you use.

Vodafone has also introduced m-pay, which lets you use your phone to make fast online payments directly from your handset. You can use it to pay for items you purchase on the web and also to top up your phone on a pay as you talk package or even to purchase a new package or add some accessories. It’s a good to check which retailers and online shops will accept this method of payment before you make any puchases.
